The Academic Teacher Training Couse or Workshop de Capacitação Acadêmica para Docentes da Área da Saúde aims to qualify faculty from higher education institutions located in Espírito Santo state, Brazil. This workshop has occurred in ten previous editions in Munich, Germany, under the organization of the Center for International Health at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (CIHLMU) and is being transferred to Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil, by the Núcleo de Apoio a Docência do Centro de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (NAD-CCS-UFES) and its partners.
Target group
Faculty from undergraduate courses of the health area teaching at institutions located in Espírito Santo state and post-graduate students.
Learning content
Teaching and learning in higher education, learning objectives, microteaching, feedback, and assessment.
Duration / Certification
Three days course - face-to-face course (November, 06th, 7th and 8th) and online course assignments.
Full-time attendance and completion of online course assignments are required for certification.

- Curriculum Lattes.
- Motivation letter.
- Video recording to demonstrate English fluency OR certificate of the conclusion of English course OR TOEFL / IELTS OR English level intermediate / advanced in Curriculum Lattes.
